About FMGE 2024 Medical Entrance Exam
The National Board of Examinations FMGE 2024 (NBE) is the authority conducting the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination. An assessment exam, FMGE 2024, will evaluate Indian nationals with a medical degree from any country outside India. Implemented since 2002, the entrance examination of FMGE 2018 will be mandatory for all Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) in order to be able to practice in India. FMGE is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December. Aspirants qualifying FMGE 2018 will be able to obtain a permanent or provisional registration with State Medical Council (SMC) or the Medical Council of India (MCI).

FMGE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates applying to FMGE 2018 must be either Bonafide or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
- The candidates should obtain the necessary primary medical qualification and must obtain their MBBS degree before the ascertained period for a particular session. The MBBS degree of the FMGs must be awarded by institutions included in the World Directory of Medical Schools as listed by World Health Organization (WHO) or an institution duly attested by the India embassy concerned for the candidates to be recognized as medical practitioners in India.
- All the FMGs will be required to provide documents in support of the primary medical education from the foreign medical institution concerned.
- Candidates with a postgraduate medical degree obtained in the countries of Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand and the United States of America need not appear in FMGE 2018 as they can directly register with MCI/SMC.
FMGE 2024 Important Dates
The students who are planning to appear for FMGE 2024 Exam must be clear about the important dates for this exam. It is so as to avoid missing out on any of the important events which will be important for the candidates. As of for now only the exam date has been announced. 2024 FMGE Exam Pattern
Candidates can check the FMGE exam pattern in this section.
- Mode: The exam will be conducted through online mode (CBT).
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in the exam.
- Number of Questions: Maximum of 300 questions will be asked.
- Medium of Exam: The question paper will be asked in English language.
- Negative Marking:No negative marking in the exam.
- Duration of Exam:FMGE is divided into two parts of 150 questions each with time allocation of 150 minutes for each part.
- Attempts: There is o limit to appear in the exam.

FMGE 2024 Documents Required at Counselling
- FMGE 2024 admit card (with a recent passport sized photograph pasted on it)
- A valid photo identity proof (PAN/Aadhar/Voter ID/Passport/Driving License)
2024 FMGE Application Form
- Candidates are advised to read the Information Bulletin carefully and go through the instructions regarding filling of application form.
- FMGE application form 2024 can be filled and submitted through online mode. No other mode will be made available for submitting application form.
- Candidates should fill the details carefully in the application form. However, in case of any mistake, candidates can correct it by click on “Edit Profile” or “Edit Application”.
- Candidates can start online registration and scheduling for FMGE June 2024 from second week of April 2024.
- Online applications can be completed and submitted till the second week of May 2024.
- Candidates have to send the required documents to the authority through mail by the first week of June 2024 to sit in the examination.
- Must keep the printout of it for future reference.
FMGE Admit Card 2024
Those candidates who have successfully submitted their FMGE 2024 application for registration can only download their admit cards. FMGE 2024 admit card has been Available from 6th Dec 2018.
Candidates can download the admit cards through online mode.
- To log in, candidates have to enter the profile using the username and password.
- Check the hall ticket details like name, category, PWD (PH) status, date of birth, gender, etc., printed on the admit card is correct or not.
- All candidates must carry valid admit cards with them without it no candidates will be allowed to enter in examination hall.
- Candidates have to bring the one photo Id proof along with photo posted on the admit card which is as follows: PAN Card, Voter Id, Passport, Driving License and Aadhaar Card (with photograph)
2024 FMGE Result
- FMGE 2024 Result will be Declaring on 15th January 2024.
- The National Board of Examinations known as FMGE will announce the result of FMGE 2024 for June Session in 2024.
- During FMGE result notice, FMGE will also make the publication of the agenda of the issuance of FMGE 2024 pass certificate for applicants who will be suitable for FMGE 2024 June session examination.
How to Check Result 2024
- Forgetting the result of FMGE 2024 for December session, applicants will require to get on the link.
- Contenders will be required to key in their roll number and date of birth, the specifics of which they established during the submission of their application form.
- Contenders will be readdressed to their result after providing the mandatory details.
- Contenders are directed to download and secure a printout of the copy of their Result.
