HPCET 2024 – Himachal Pradesh Technical University will be conducting HPCET 2024 in offline mode tentatively in the second week of May. All candidates who wish to participate in the HPCET examination will be required to register tentatively from the second week of March 2024. HPCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board/university with at least 45% aggregate marks for general category candidates and at least 40% marks for reserved category candidates.
- Candidates need to have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in class 12th along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.

Documents Required HPCET 2024
- Certificates of class XII and class X.
- Class XII and X mark sheets issued by the board/university.
- Date of birth certificate or matriculation/higher secondary/Indian school certificates showing the date of birth.
- JEE Main/HPCET score card.
- Character certificate from the head of institution last attended.
- Bonafide/domicile certificate issued by the concerned authority.
- Reserved category certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
- Physically challenged certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.

HPCET Application Form 2024
The application form of HPCET 2024 will be available in online mode tentatively in the second week of March. All candidates who wish to participate in the examination will have to fill the application form and submit it before the final date. All details to be submitted has to be valid and in accordance to the documents possessed by them.
Steps to fill HPCET 2024 Application Form
- Registration – The candidates will have to enter their name, user name, date of birth, valid email address and mobile number to register for HPCET 2024. A password has to be created by the candidates. After registration, a unique form number will be generated and sent to the email id.
- Filling of Application Form – After logging in using the user name, password and application number, the candidates will have to fill their personal, academic and contact details.
- Uploading of Scanned Documents – The candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.
- Edit Application Form – Details have to be checked and edited (if necessary) by the candidates.
- Payment of Fee – Next, the candidates will have to pay the required application fee in online (credit card/debit card) or offline mode (PNB Challan).
- Confirmation Page – A PDF will be generated after the payment of fee is done. The printed application form of HPCET 2024 has to be emailed at himtuadmission @gmail.com or submitted personally in the office of the “Controller of Examinations Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur (H.P.)-177001” within a week after its generation.

HPCET 2024 Admit Card
Registered candidates will be able to access the admit card of HPCET 2024 tentatively in the first week of May. The HPCET 2024 admit card will consist of the various information such as examination venue address, timings and more. The candidates will be required to produce their admit card at the exam venue. Failure to bring the admit card will result in the disqualification of the candidates. Along with the admit card, the candidates will have to bring their identity proof.
How to Download HPCET 2024 Admit Card?
- Candidates will have to submit their name/HPCET application form number and programme.
- Click on Submit
- The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- After checking for any discrepancies, the candidates will have to download and print out the admit card.
HPCET 2024 Cut off
HPCET cut off 2024 is the minimum qualifying score that candidates need to secure in the test to get qualified for counselling process and seat allotment. HPTU will declare cut off of HPCET 2024 after the declaration of result. Only the successful candidates whose score is more than or equal to HPCET 2024 cut off will be given admission as per their rank obtained in HPCET 2024 exam.

Result of HPCET 2024 will be declared on May 27, 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam which was held in offline mode on May 13, 2024 can check HPCET 2024 Result by logging in on the official website. The result will be displayed with details of candidates along with the marks they have scored in each subject. Candidates are advised to download and print their HPCET 2024 Result or score card after checking it.
