JEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

  • Before proceeding towards filling the application form, do refer and meet the mentioned below JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities:
  • Age Criteria: NTA has removed the age limit. However, candidates need to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2017, 2018 or should be appearing for the same in 2023 in irrespective of their birth date.
  • Qualifying Examinations: Must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam in 2017 or 2018. Also, candidates appearing for class 12 board examination in 2023 will be also eligible for JEE Main 2023.

JEE Main 2023 Exam pattern – Paper 1

JEE 2023 Exam Syllabus

JEE Main Syllabus for Paper 1 comprises of PCM of class 12 of CBSE board. While for Paper 2, the questions will be based on Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing.

Aptitude Test Awareness of places, persons, buildings and materials, Texture and objects related to Architecture and building environment, Visualising 3D objects from 2D drawings, Visualising different sides of 3D objects, Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal), Analytical Reasoning, Three dimensional – perception and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, colour texture, building forms and elements, contrast and harmony.
Drawing Test Drawing and designing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil, Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, Elevations and 3 D views of objects Rotation, Development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, Creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shapes and forms, Sketching of activities from memory of urban scenes (public space, festivals, market, street scenes, recreational spaces monuments, etc.), landscape (gardens, trees, riverfronts, jungles, plants etc.) and rural life.

JEE 2023 Documents Required

  • Valid Id proof (Aadhaar Number, Aadhaar Enrolment ID, Aadhaar Registration number, Passport Number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number, any other valid Government ID Number)

JEE 2023 Application Form

  • Step 1: JEE Main Registration:
    • Visit JEE Main/ NTA Official Website
    • Click on ‘Apply for JEE Main 2023’ tab.
    • Fill the Authentication Form by entering Nationality, State of Eligibility, State where Class 12th School / NIOS study centre is located, Identification Type, Aadhaar Card Number if ID chosen is Aadhaar, Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Security Pin.
  • Step 2: Uploading Documents:
    • After filling in the online form, candidates are required to scan and upload photograph and signature per the defined guidelines by NTA.
    • Application forms with unclear photograph will be rejected.
    • Keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of exam, seat allotment and admission.
    • Candidates applying from reserved category should obtain caste certificates from designated authorities.
  • Step 3: Payment of JEE Main 2023 Application Fee
    • JEE Main Registration Fee can be paid via Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ PayTM/ Cash Cards/ SBI Buddy Wallet.
    • An option to opt for e-challan is also available. Visit the nearest Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank or ICICI Bank to make the payment.

JEE 2023 Admit Card

  • The admit card will be available online at nta.ac.in.
  • To download JEE Main Admit Card, enter Application Number and Password.
  • The exam is expected to be conducted in 258 cities across India and 10 international cities.
  • JEE Main exam center has to be chosen at the time of registration.

Steps to download JEE Main 2023 Admit Card

  • Enter JEE Main Application Number, date of birth and security pin in the admit card window
  • Click on “Submit” button.
  • Check the admit card on your computer screen.
  • Ensure all the details are correct before taking a print out.

JEE 2023 Result

  • For January Session: January 31, 2023|| For April Session: April 30, 2023
  • NTA will release JEE Main Result online on the official website i.e. nta.ac.in. After the result declaration, NTA also releases All India Ranks of qualified candidates

How to check JEE Main Result 2023?

  • Visit JEE Main 2023 Result portal
  • Enter roll number and date of birth.
  • Click on submit button and you will be redirected to JEE Main result 2023 window.
  • Check your score and ranks and download the Rank Card of JEE Main 2023
  • JEE Main Rank List 2023 will include All India Rank of the candidate along with the All India Category Rank.

JEE 2023 CutOff

  • NTA will release cut off of JEE Main 2023 along with the result.
  • Based on cut off, a merit list will be released and candidates will be called for counselling process.
  • Cut off is released considering the factors such as difficulty level, number of candidates and category of the candidates
