About TJEE 2024 Engineering Entrance Exam

TJEE 2024 is a joint entrance examination conducted by the Higher Education Department of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. Students who will appear in TJEE 2024 can take admission in Engineering, Technological and other professional courses against the seats reserved for the state of Tripura and also the seats of different state institutions. The process of TBJEE 2024 are expected to start from the first week of January 2024.

TJEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: For appearing in the examination you must ensure to be a citizen of India.
• Qualification: You must have passed / appeared / due to appear in the year of Joint Entrance Examination at the Higher Secondary Examination of Tripura Board of Secondary Education / Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent examination with the subjects in which he / she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Examination.
• Residential criteria: You must be a permanent resident of Tripura and either your parent must have been residing in the state of Tripura continuously for not less than 10 (ten) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination 2018.
• Domicile- candidate’s parents must have been residing in Tripura for at least ten years.

TJEE 2024 Exam Dates

BCECE Exam Pattern 2024

• The exam will be held in offline mode (OMR sheet).
• There will be 4 papers in the TJEE 2024 held in 4 different sessions.
• There will be 50 questions (compulsory) asked in each paper.
• Each paper will carry 100 marks.
• The duration of the each paper will be 2 hours.
• The questions will be of objective type, i.e., multiple-choice questions.
• 2 marks will be awarded for each right answer and there will be no negative marking.

Candidates seeking admission to Engineering/ Technology (Group-A) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and those seeking admission to Agricultural/ Veterinary/ Fishery and other such courses (Group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Those who wish to be considered for all the courses will have to appear in all the four subjects (Group-C).

TJEE Exam Syllabus 2024

• Physics–Energy and Power, Work, Laws of Motion, Kinematics, Physical world and measurement, Properties of Bulk Matter, Gravitation, Optics, Current Electricity, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Electromagnetic Waves, Atoms, and Nuclei, Electronic devices, Thermodynamics, etc.
• Chemistry-Solid state, Electrochemistry, Basic concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atoms, Chemical kinetics, Solution, Equilibrium, P-block elements, D and F-block elements, States of matter, Phenols and Ethers, Redox Reactions, Hydrogen, Alcohols, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Biomolecules, and Surface chemistry.
• Mathematics-Mathematical reasoning, Complex numbers and Quadratic equations, Straight lines, Limits and Derivatives, Binomial theorem, Matrices, Statistics, Relations and functions, Integrals, determinants, application of derivatives, 3D geometry, probability.
• Biology-Human physiology, Plant physiology, Cell, Ecology and Environment, Genetics and evolution, Diversity in living world, Sexual reproduction, Biotechnology and its applications.

TJEE Application Form 2024

• Form collection in person– TBJEE 2024 Application form will be available for collection in offline mode.
• Candidate will have to visit the TBJEE complex starting from 1st week of January 2024 till the 04th week of January 2024 on the all working days from 11:30 am to 03:30 pm.
• These dates will exclude Sundays and other holidays.
• Postal Mode request – You may also request prospectus and application by way of the postal medium.
• You have to see and Postal order of Rs. 100/- perform in favor of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination.
• This amount would be payable at Agartala Head Post Office accompanied by a self-addressed envelope of 30cm x 13cm size postage stamp of Rs. Five/- affixed on it.
• Submit the form with filled details.

TJEE 2024 Documents Required

• Admit card of class X or equivalent/School Leaving Certificate/Birth Certificate
• Admit card/Enrollment Certificate of class XII or equivalent examination/Certificate from the concerned institution as a proof of appearing in class XII or equivalent examination
• Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate issued by the competent authority (2 photocopies)
• Copy of BPL card/Ad hoc BPL certificate from the appropriate authority (if applicable)
• Certificate regarding the period of stay of Candidate/Father/Mother for not less than five years in case of wards of Ex-Serviceman/Serving Defense Personnel, issued by the competent authority. (2 photocopies)

TJEE Admit Card 2024

• The admit card of TJEE 2024 will be released by the admission authority of the examination board.
• The admission authority will dispatch the admit card for each candidate tentatively in the third week of March, 2024.
• The TJEE 2024 admit card will be issued to the eligible candidates only and to the candidates who have completely filled in the application form.
• The admission authority will not release the admit card to the candidates who have submitted the application form with incomplete details or documents or invalid information.

Candiadates must check the TJEE 2024 admit card for all the details as soon as they receive it.

• If any information given on the admit card is not correct, candidate must contact the admission authority immediately.

Candidates will be required to present the admit card of TJEE at the time of examination, without which candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. All the candidates must bring the following documents at the time of examination:

• Self-attested copies of original documents
• Copy of application form receipt
• SL No. and Objection No. of candidate in the Objection list

TJEE Cutoff 2024

• The admission authority will release the cutoff of TJEE 2024 for the admission of candidates to the programmes offered.
• The candidates are required to meet the cutoff criteria to get admission through TJEE 2024.
• To get admissions, candidates must secure higher marks than the cutoff marks to have maximum chances of getting admission through TJEE.
• The TJEE 2024 cutoff list has not yet been released by the authority and as soon as it will be available, candidates will be able to download from here.

TJEE Result 2024

• The admission authority of the examination conducting board will release the result of TJEE 2024 likely in the last week of May.
• Candidates will be able to check their TJEE 2024 result by logging into the website portal by entering the enrolment number and date of birth.
• The result will only be available for the candidates who have appeared in the examination.

TJEE 2024 Exam Centres

The candidates applying for the examination will be required to choose the exam centres of TJEE 2024 where they wish to take the exam. Candidates will be able to choose the TJEE 2024 exam centres as per their preferences. However, the final allocation of exam centres will be done by the admission department of TJEE depending on the number of students opted for that centre. TJEE 2024 will be conducted in around 10 test centres across Tripura. If the exam centre has been allotted to the candidate, candidates will not be able to make any further changes.
