About VITEEE 2024 Engineering Entrance Exam

VITEEE 2024 is a national level engineering entrance exam for admission to 20 B.Tech programs offered at VIT Campuses located in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal. VITEEE is conducted as an online based test in English language only. The duration of exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. The exam is held in 117 test cities across India and 4 international cities, Dubai, Muscat, Qatar and Kuwait. Eligible candidates must apply for the exam, book their slots to download their VITEEE Admit Card in April 2024.

VITEEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• VITEEE Eligibility Criteria mandates candidates to have secured at least an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the +2/Intermediate examination.
• Candidate should pass 10+2 examination conducted by the State Board, CBSE and ISCE, New Delhi.
• Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for all the B.Tech. Degree Programmes.
• The candidates should be Resident/Non-Resident Indian National. PIO and OCI holders will also be eligible for VITEEE 2024 examination.
• Should have been born on or after July 1, 1997.

VITEEE 2024 Exam Highlights

VITEEE 2024 Exam Date

Candidates can check the important dates for all the processes and events like Application form availability, admit card, important dates, result date, etc. The computer-based test would be conducted in 3 sessions per day from 2nd OR 3rd week of April 2024.

VITEEE Exam Pattern 2024

Before starting off the preparation process, it is important for the candidates to check the exam pattern of VITEEE 2024 which will be held from April 10 to 21. By knowing the exam pattern, the candidates will be able to be familiar with the various factors of the entrance examination such as mode, duration, sections, marking scheme and more. This will help boost the preparation process of the candidates since they will have more knowledge about how the examination will be conducted.

VITEEE Exam Syllabus 2024

The VITEEE 2024 Syllabus has been released officially. The VITEEE syllabus is comprised of 12th class syllabus which include the subjects such as:

VITEEE Application Form 2024

• The VITEEE application form can be filled and submitted through online or offline mode.
• Offline OMR application form can be get through designated list of post offices throughout India or by producing the Demand Draft for Rs. 1200/- in favour of VIT University, in person, from the following places:
• VIT, Vellore Campus
• VIT, Chennai Campus
• VIT-Bhopal (MP)
• VIT-Amaravati (MP)
• The application form filling process has been started from 28th October 2019.
• Candidates can apply till 28th February 2024.
• Candidates must be ready with the scanned images of photograph and signature for uploading.
• The university also provide the application correction facility.
• The candidates those have filled their application form through online mode, they do not have to send the hard copy if it.
• OMR completed application form should be enclosed separately in the printed envelope provided and send to the Director UG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore-632 014 by post.

VITEEE 2024 Documents Required

The documents required for filling up the VITEEE application form are as follows:

• Softcopy or scanned copy of recently taken passport size colour.
• The size of the photograph should be between 50 KB – 100 KB and dimensions- 3.5 cm * 4.5 cm.
• Soft copy or scanned copy of the signature of the candidate with 20 KB – 50 KB with the dimensions of 3.5 cm *1.5 cm in JPG/JPEG format.
• It is important to fulfil the VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2024 to be eligible for admission.
• In case of any discrepancy, while scrutinizing the documents, the candidature will be liable for cancellation.
• If the application form is rejected, the refund of fee will be made as per the rules of VIT University.

VITEEE Admit Card 2024

• Once the slot booking process is completed, the candidates will be able to access their VITEEE 2024 admit card.
• Details about the examination, timings, venue and more will be present in the admit card.
• The candidates will have to produce the admit card of VITEEE 2024 at the examination venue along with a photo identity proof.
• Failure to produce their admit card may lead to the disqualification of the candidate.

Steps to download VITEEE 2024 Admit Card

• After logging in using the application number of VITEEE 2024 and password, the candidates will have to complete the slot booking process.
• The admit card will be available for download after the slot is booked.
• After checking for discrepancies, the candidates will have to download and print out their admit card of VITEEE 2024.

VITEEE Result 2024

• The authorities concerned will be announcing the result of VITEEE 2024 in online mode tentatively in the last week of April.
• The scores and rank secured by the candidates in the entrance examination will be available in the VITEEE 2024 result.
• A normalization process will be followed by the authorities to calculate the ranks of the candidates. On the basis of the ranks, the candidates will be called for the counselling process.

How to check VITEEE 2024 Result?

• The candidates will have to enter the VITEEE 2024 application number and date of birth.
• Click on Submit
• The result will be displayed on the screen.

VITEEE Cutoff 2024

• VITEEE cut off depends on a number of factors such as the number of students who appeared for VITEEE, total seats available, level of difficulty of exam and average performance given by the students.
• Cut off for all the campuses will be released separately, based on the availability of seats in the form of opening and closing ranks or admission to various courses in engineering.
• Admission will be granted on the basis of rank list. This rank list is prepared on the basis of a candidate’s percentile.
• Examinees in the top merit (from 1 to 20,000) are called for participating in Phase 1 counselling on multiple dates.
